Denim Alternatives

It's no secret, we love denim in a big way. You can find ranges of styles and washes from the top denim brands here at Bliss Boutiques: AG Jeans, Citizens of Humanity, J Brand, Joe's Jeans, 7 For All Mankind, and more! Every now and then, there are trends we love enough to wear just as much as denim! Read on to learn about spring's hottest denim alternatives! Think- comfortable, fashion-forward, and flattering...

Culottes are knee to mid-calf length pants cut with wide, full legs that resemble the way a skirt hangs. Want to know a serious benefit to this style? No tailoring is required as these legs aren't meant to hit at the ankle. (We know our petite customers are rejoicing!) If you're worried about appearing shorter, try lengthening your look in monochromatic tones or adding a pair of heels! If you love linen as much as we do, the cropped Wendy Pant (a CP Shades exclusive for Bliss Boutiques!) is going to be the pant for you. The Dajon Knit Culottes from Velvet by Graham and Spencer (#2) are also a great option as they are made from a modal/elastane blend and hang beautifully!

Oh, soft pants, our weekday hero. These pants are slouchy, chic, and of course, soft. The versatility of these pants make them a wardrobe game-changer. For an effortless look wear them with sneakers, a t-shirt, and a jean or leather jacket. For a dressier look, toss on a silk tank and a pair of heels. Either way you dress them, you're going to be comfortable and gorgeous! To give this style a try, opt for #3 or #4: the Ella Moss Trouser pants feature pleating and a belt that can be tied into a bow! The Rachel Pally Crystale Pant (#5) is another great option – a full length soft pant made from her signature modal/spandex blend that makes this piece universally flattering. Of course our CP Shades soft pants are always a customer-favorite! The Wendy pant (#6), is a full length, flared linen pant available in white, black, and ink. If you prefer a straight leg, give the Hampton Pant (#7) a try!

Leggings aren't new to the fashion scene, but we love how they're being styled in new ways this season. To balance proportion, try a looser top like the quilted jacket from The Odells or a CP Shades Teton with your leggings. Or, if you're looking for a more daring look, go fitted on top and bottom! #8, the AL Denim Girdle from Prairie Underground is a high rise legging that is available in black and denim. Prairie Underground also makes #9, the Continuity Legging. As always, Prairie uses 100% organic cotton in these leggings, but this time, added a bit of spandex in for the ultimate body-hugging, yet flattering fit. Last, but not least, Getting Back to Square One creates a line of ponte clothing, such as #10, the Iconic Legging. They are leggings that you'll want to wear all year long, with everything.

We love that you love denim as much as we do, but who doesn't love learning some new on-trend styling tricks? Which denim alternatives will you pick?
