Hand-picked for the holidays!

Hannah Tarkinson, the founder & head designer of Ponomo, stopped by our Portland store this morning with some seriously jaw-dropping new necklaces & earrings. Some of our favorites were the victorian-inspired choker necklace, cut-steel earrings (so gorgeous!),and the earrings made from vintage guitar tuners. They're unique, one-of-a-kind and are all made from re-purposed & reconstructed vintage materials.

What we're coveting this year!

With Christmas less than a week away, it's starting to feel like crunch time. Don't stress just yet if you're still shopping - you've still got some time & we're here to help. It feels as if I blinked, and December is here. Not that I mind, I've always been fond of shopping, Christmas lights and Elf marathons. Oh, and holiday get-togethers, of course! If you're anything like me, the next couple of weekends are sure to be a whirlwind of family gatherings and work soirÉes. With the Christmas season upon us, it's time to start planning some festive outfits (after all, we all know grandma gets camera-happy during this time of year!). Lucky for you, we've got your holiday wardrobe covered. From sequins to silk, you're guaranteed to shine this season.

Sequins, sequins, and more sequins. We've been anticipating Velvet's Holiday Collection since we first laid eyes on it in NYC back in May. Seriously, out of any holiday collection we saw, they had the best sequins - and the best colors. Pick from classic black or a soft pewter, along with a variety of cuts & shapes. Probably the most versatile piece from the collection is Velvet's sequin crop jacket. Pair it with your favorite LBD or wear it with a comfy t-shirt & jeans - either way, you'll create an eye-catching look that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

Another must-try look from Velvet is their sequin v-neck tank dress. Not only does it demand the spotlight, but it's pencil skirt cut is super flattering. Add some tights, booties and even a layering top underneath. It's dressed-up layering at its best.

We're also loving the idea of a sequined tank. Perfect on its own or as a layering piece, it's an easy way to add some glam to your wardrobe basics. Wear it with your go-to pair of jeans or some wax-coated skinnies by J Brand. It's a closet mainstay that we simply adore.
