Designer

Founded in 1863 in Massachusetts by John A. Frye, The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operating shoe company in the United States. So deeply rooted in American history (generations of soldiers wore Frye boots in the Civil War, the Spanish American War and World War II), The Frye Company takes great pride in their tradition, uncompromising quality and timeless styles. Season after season, they continue to produce old classics along with new innovative designs - securing them a place in American culture, both past and present.

Size and Fit

A small amount of heel slippage is the proper fit for Frye boots. Make sure you can wiggle your toes. If you feel as if you are between sizes in Frye boots, we recommend sizing down a half size. Frye uses the highest quality leathers and they will stretch/relax a small amount with wear. If you normally wear wide sizes, we recommend ordering a half size up. Keep in mind that Frye boots are hand-made and individual leathers will age differently.
