After careful consideration, we are excited to announce the reopening of our Portland and Portsmouth locations this Monday, June 1 at 11AM.
We have made the decision to reopen with meticulous thought and care and are thankful to have the means to do so. We feel hopeful and optimistic, and want to do all we can to be there for our customers, friends, and families during this time of transition.
Everyone’s safety is our top priority and we are confident in our ability to open safely. We are following all rules and regulations and taking every suggested precaution possible—even those not technically required of us. We will have hand sanitizer readily available, will be requiring all customers to wear face masks, will be wiping down surfaces hourly, and have installed plexi-glass shields at checkout.
Please bear with us as we strictly enforce new rules about occupancy, social distancing, and mandatory protective gear. If you forget, we've got you covered—literally—with gentle reminders from our staff, face masks, and hand sanitizer!
We know some of you aren't ready to shop in person, and we understand. Our online store is always open and our customer service team is here to help with any questions you have. If you’d like to schedule a private shopping session, give us a call and we’d be happy to work with you personally.
For those of you who have been waiting patiently to get back in store, we can't wait to see you. This won't be the same shopping experience we’re all used to, but the friendly faces of our team remain constant, and we hope that having us back in your life will provide some familiar comfort.
The last few months have been full of ups and downs, to say the very least. Since closing our doors on March 16, we’ve watched our industry and our community face huge challenges and dramatic changes. Thank you for your patience, your thoughtful words of encouragement, and your unending support. We are so excited for you to shop with us—however you feel most comfortable—and adapt to this new normal along with us. We’re all in this together!

At Bliss, we take the health and well-being of our team and customers and their families very seriously. It is with concerned and considered hearts that we have decided to close both Bliss brick & mortar locations effective today until things take a turn for the safer for our team, our customers, and the families in our Bliss communities.
